Rolando received his Bachelor's degree in English Literature and then went on to pursue a Master's degree in English with special qualifications in literature from the University of Bern, Switzerland. Since completing his studies, Rolando has found a home in the helping professions, finding unique ways to transfer his extensive academic background to caring for others. Rolando excels at supporting young people through the emotional experience of completing high school, college or other academic endeavors. Skillfully navigating this intersection of emotional, academic and executive functioning skills, Rolando supports his clients to reach their goals.

Born in Cuba, Rolando brings a multicultural understanding to the work he does, encouraging growth while also finding unique ways to bring diverse dialogues into conversation. His calming presence and savvy wit allows him to quickly develop strong connections with both young people and their parents. Rolando loves to support adolescents and young adults to develop authentic identities with his soft yet direct approach, which features compassionate boundaries and mutual respect.

When not supporting young people, Rolando is leading by example as a CHASE-funded (Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts South-East England) Doctoral Researcher at the University of London. He also moonlights as a photographer and has a passion for soccer and skiing. Rolando speaks three languages and has lived in four countries!
